Attending MediaTek and OneSong Orchestra's 2026 Charity Music Journey, Taiwan Resonance

Attending MediaTek and OneSong Orchestra's 2026 charity music journey, Taiwan Resonance, left me with two strong impressions. First, music has a way of crossing distance and connecting people across different parts of Taiwan. Second, visiting Pingtung Performing Arts Center for the first time made me feel how powerful a local cultural space can become when it is fully alive.

OneSong Orchestra's performance carried a distinctive warmth. It was not simply about performing a program; it was about placing Taiwanese melodies, memory, and a sense of place into orchestral sound. When special guest Hsu Fu-kai stepped onto the stage, his voice and the orchestra created a natural dialogue, making the idea of "Taiwan Resonance" feel concrete and present.

Corporate support for a charity music journey is more than sponsorship of a concert. It helps bring cultural resources to more cities and gives people in different places access to high-quality live music. That kind of commitment matters for the long-term cultivation of Taiwan's cultural life.

I have always believed that a society's progress is measured not only by industry and capital markets, but also by how culture is preserved, reinterpreted, and brought into people's everyday lives. Taiwan Resonance showed how a technology company, an orchestra, a local venue, and an audience can form a meaningful cycle together.

The evening at Pingtung Performing Arts Center also stayed with me. Under the lights, the building felt quiet and bright. Inside, the instruments, chairs, and stage banner seemed to be waiting for the sound to begin. Visiting for the first time felt like more than attending a concert; it felt like discovering another cultural expression of Pingtung.

After the concert, what remained was not only the melody, but also a reminder: Taiwan's strength takes many forms. It is found in technology, industry, and capital markets, but also in the cultural resonance that grows from land, memory, and sound.
